AFTER
GEORGE WAS RESCUED FROM
THE LIVESTOCK AUCTION. HE WAS
FULL OF WORMS AND HAD HOOF
ROTT SO BAD IT ATE A HOLE
THROUGH IN TO HIS PASTURN. MY
DAUGHTER AND I GOT HIM BETTER
AND SHE SHOWED HIM AT THE
GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY FAIR. HE
WON GRAND CHAMPION AND WAS
SOLD IN THE FAIR AUCTION TO
POPPY PATCH FARM IN
MONTESANO, WA. WHERE THEY
KEPT HIM AS A PET.
THIS IS DIAMOND. TO THE LEFT IS
A PICTURE OF WHEN WE
BROUGHT HER HOME FROM THE
LIVESTOCK AUCTION. SHE WAS
VERY WORMY, SKINNY, FULL OF
LICE AND SCARED OF PEOPLE.
MY DAUGHTER IN THE PICTURE
HAD TO SIT LIKE THAT FOR 20
MINUTES UNTIL DIAMOND WOULD
COME THAT CLOSE. YOU CAN
TELL SHE IS EXPECTING TO BOLT
AWAY.SHE JUST WANTED FOOD.

TO THE RIGHT THERE SHE IS
AFTER WORMING HER
DEBUGGING  HER AND FEEDING
HER GOOD FOOD FOR A COUPLE
MONTHS. THE TOP RIGHT
PICTURE SHE WAS SHAVED AND
READY TO GO TO THE FAIR.
DIAMOND AT THE GRAYS HARBOR FAIR SHE
GOT GRAND CHAMPION AS A BREEDING DOE.
THIS IS LA REENA. SHE'S A NIGERIAN
DAIRY GOAT

SHE WAS IN GOOD HEALTH WHEN WE
GOT HER. SHE CAME FROM A HOME
WHERE SHE HAD NO HERD AND WAS ALL
BY HERSELF. WHILE AT THAT HOME SHE
HAD A BABY AND THE OWNERS DIDN'T
EVEN KNOW SHE WAS PREGNANT WHEN
THEY GOT HER SO . THEY FOUND HER
WITH A BABY OUT IN THE RAIN. IT HAD
DIED A FEW DAYS LATER.

SO WE WERE CALLED LATER IN THE
YEAR AND WE BROUGHT HER HOME.  
TOOK CARE OF HER AND SHE HAD
TRIPLETS FOR US THE NEXT YEAR. TO US
SHE LOOKED LIKE A LITTLE PONY. SHE
WAS VERY SWEET!

THIS IS MOE WE TOOK HIM IN AFTER HIS
OWNER COULDN'T KEEP HIM ANYMORE.
HER HUSBAND THREATENED TO BUTCHER
HIM. SO WE TOOK HIM IN AND HE IS OUR
GOAT BABY SITTER. HE PLAYS WITH THE
BABIES WHILE THEIR MOMIES ARE OUR IN
THE FIELD EATING. THE BABIES LOVE HIM
BECAUSE HE IS CLOSE TO BEING THEIR
SIZE.

MOE IS A FAINTING GOAT


TO THE RIGHT MOE  HAS BEEN GIVEN A
WETHER CLIP AND WAS BEING SHOWN
WITH THE MEAT GOATS NON SALE
